Refund Policy


To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at hello@akrtraders.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

If you have used any “coupon code/offer” while placing an order that is applicable to the product being refunded, appropriate adjustments will be made to the amount being refunded.

Please note that all refund requests must adhere to these guidelines to be considered valid.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / Non-returnable Items

Certain types of items cannot be returned, such as perishable goods (e.g., food, flowers, or plants), custom products (e.g., special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (e.g., beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Refunds Due to Expiry/Best Before

Some special grocery products on our website are not readily available in the UK market and are imported specifically for AKR Traders customers. We do our best to source products with maximum expiry and best-before dates. However, due to stock challenges in the UK, expiry dates may vary. Because of the online nature of this business, we cannot accept refund claims if more than 1 month’s expiry/best-before date is available at the time of dispatch. (This does not apply to products with a shelf life shorter than 1 month, and we cannot process refunds for perishables.) If you think your usage is lower, we recommend ordering smaller variants of the product or contacting us via chat support.

Exchanges/Returns

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have. Once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

For nationwide delivery, we do not accept returns unless the wrong item is sent or it is not in good condition. For local delivery areas, customers can return wrong or damaged items at the nearest collection point, after which we can initiate a refund.

Demanding refunds on unreasonable grounds may result in the company taking action on processing further orders from the customer.

Refund Process

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

We assess every refund request carefully and refund in most cases, trusting our customers as we have a customer-first policy. However, in some cases, if unreasonable refund requests are made, AKR Traders has the right to reject/cancel orders. This rejection will be based on account address.
